J.C. Russo is Power Soccer Champ

J.C. Russo, a member of the RHISP Power Soccer Team, took 2nd place in the Eastern Regional Competition in Atlanta, Georgia. There he also earned 2nd place in the 1-on-1 competition. Now as a member of Team USA, J.C. will be competing in Japan for the Power Soccer World Cup trophy in October, 2007.

Swoverland Races and Swims to Victory

In the Wheelchair Sports 2007 National Junior Championships, Josh Swoverland posted 1st place finishes in the 200m, 400m, and 800m track events. He also took 1st place in the 50m, 100m, and 200m freestyle, and 50m backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly swimming events. These accomplishments helped RHISP place 3rd overall in the small teams division–the first team award ever received by the junior track and field team for RHISP!

Competing at the 2007 Handricks Regional Health 19th Disabled Water Ski National Championships, Dan won his first National award claiming the silver medal in jump for the MP3 class. He also received the Royce Andes Award for his love and passion in giving back to others.
